Baby Buck$
Our Baby Buck$ program encourages families with young children, between the ages of newborn to 5 yrs., residing in Rowan County to participate in programs that promote the education & healthy development of young children.
The Baby Buck$ store operates with Smart Start program funds, grants and donations from businesses, organizations and individuals. Parents can shop for items such as clothes, baby necessities such as diapers and baby wipes as well as educational items such as children’s books, and developmentally appropriate toys.

How do I earn Smart Start Rowan Baby Buck$?
You earn Baby Buck$ by participating in any of the following Smart Start Rowan sponsored parent activities: Kaleidoscope Play & Learn, and Triple-P.
How many Baby Buck$ will I earn?
By participating in either of the above activities you will earn $2 in Baby Buck$. The more sessions/meetings that you attend , the more Baby Buck$ you will earn.
How do I redeem my Baby Buck$?
The Baby Buck$ store will have 4 designated shopping days per year (1 per quarter). These days will be advertised in advance . If you are unable to come on the designated day (s) you may talk to your Parent Educator to make special arrangements for a shopping opportunity.
