WAGE$ Program

 Smart Start Rowan provides the funding to support the WAGE$ program for Rowan County early childhood educators.  In partnership with  Child Care Services Association, who manages the program, WAGE$ provides education-based salary supplements to reward teacher education and continuity of care for those working with children between the ages of 0-5.
